MY KITTY CAT is having a really bad DIARRHOEA…….please help me….i love my kitty so much!?
my cat is about 4 months old…..i already went to the vet and gave me some medication…but it doesnt seem to work…i gave my kitty glucose and some nutrition food as consulted by the vet…but nothing seems to be working…..his anus seem to flow some liquid form of poop, and it continues to flow as if it is pee-ing all d time from his bum….should i juz let him cure himself or i should do something??coz,my previous cat had diarrhoea and she cured herself, she’s about the same age….but im afraid if i dont do anything my current kitty will die….i LOVE HIM SO MUCH!he’s the sweetest cat that i have…please tell me any method to cure him….tell me what to do…..
you need to call that vet office and tell him the medicine did not work. They will tell you what to do. Dont just ignore it, it probably wont get better on its own. When there is diarrhea he could get dehydrated…………………just call the vet back asap…………if they dont fix it this time, find another vet!

You really need to go back to the vets now. You really should take professional advice and not try to do anything at home yourself

A cat with diarrhea needs some tender, loving care as well as a way to stop the runs. Not only is diarrhea messy, it can make your pet feel weak and uncomfortable. There is always the risk of dehydration when diarrhea is present. Diarrhea usually runs its course and clears up on its own. Here are a few ways to care for a cat with diarrhea.
Step1 Place an extra litter box or two around the house in case your cat can’t make it to the usual one. You can make things easier on you and your cat if you give her extra potty space.
Step2 Stop filling the food bowl. Fast your pet for the first day. As long as you keep feeding her, the food will keep coming out the other end. Give her digestive system a rest. Your cat’s belly needs a break so avoid feeding her for 24 hours.
Step3 Give your cat plenty of water. Dehydration can result from diarrhea so keep the water bowl full. Your cat should always have access to fresh water.
Step4 Soothe her stomach with love and attention. Tender, loving care makes you feel better when you’re not feeling well and it can do the same for your pet. Stroke her fur and let her know you care. Give her some extra attention to make her feel better.
Step5 Re-introduce food slowly. Once the diarrhea begins to subside you can start your pet on a bland diet. Feed her bits of boiled chicken or plain rice. Re-introduce her regular food slowly over the next few days.
Step6 Keep your cat comfortable and the environment as stress-free as possible. If your cat is stressed out for any reason it can make the diarrhea worse. Keep your cat in a safe, quiet area where she will not be disturbed by other pets or children. Cats are not always the most social animals and may become stressed by the presence of children or other animals. Give her some privacy to calm her stomach.

Diarrhea usually results from eating something that upsets the digestive system, an abrupt change in diet or an infection. Cats can also get diarrhea from consuming dairy products such as milk.
Diarrhea usually clears up within 24 hours. If diarrhea persists or is accompanied by other symptoms such as fever see a veterinarian.

You need to go back to the vet or possibly a different one. What food are you giving your kitten? At 4 months it is still a kitten and not a cat so it should not have food which is too rich for it. Make sure you are buying food which is the correct formulation for its age. Don’t give it any milk but it must have plenty of water to stop dehydration. Has your vet given you a probiotic like Pro-Kolin for him? It is very good at stopping diarrhoea. Has the vet suggested a prescription diet such as Walthams Sensitivity Control or Intestinal formulation? Has the kitten been wormed recently? Panacur is a broad spectrum wormer which will deal with all kinds of worms. Has the vet done a stool sample and tested for Giardia as this can be the cause of dreadful diarrhoea.
Don’t give treats of any kind until this is cured.

You really need to take him back to the vet. In the meant time just give him boiled chicken ( no bones) and plain boiled rice.
His condition is possibly serious and he really must see a vet quickly.
